ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

Overview

What is ERP

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a management tool that integrates all business functions of a company into a single system. Procurement, production, sales, inventory, accounting, and costing data -- previously managed separately by each department -- can now be shared and processed in real time on one platform.

For example, when the sales team registers a sales order, the production team can immediately create a production plan, the procurement team can place material orders, and the accounting team automatically generates sales vouchers. ERP eliminates information silos between departments and automates business workflows to improve operational efficiency.

VEXPLOR ERP Positioning

VEXPLOR ERP is a full-stack ERP solution designed for small and mid-size manufacturing enterprises. It provides all business functions that a manufacturing company needs -- from quotation creation through production, shipment, and financial closing -- in a single solution template.

Key Numbers

ItemCountDescription
Business Tables134Pre-designed data structures covering all manufacturing ERP needs
Management Screens104Screens for registration, inquiry, modification, and approval
Automated Workflows16Business process automation for repetitive tasks
Shop Floor POP Screens16Touch-optimized terminal screens for production floor use

Why VEXPLOR ERP

1. Deploy Instantly Without Coding

Select the ERP solution template in Schema Designer, and within minutes, 134 business tables and 104 management screens are automatically built. Compared to traditional ERP implementations that take months to years, this is a dramatically shortened deployment timeline. You can build and operate your own ERP without dedicated development staff.

2. Designed for Manufacturing

This is not a generic ERP adapted for manufacturing. It is optimized for the procurement-production-quality-shipment cycle specific to manufacturing. BOM (Bill of Materials), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), production routings, and outsourcing management are built-in native capabilities that can be applied directly to the manufacturing floor without customization.

3. Real-time Shop Floor Connection

16 POP (Point of Production) terminal screens enable real-time processing of goods receipts, production results, shipments, and quality inspections on the production floor. Barcode scanning support allows shop floor workers to enter data quickly and accurately, with immediate reflection in office management screens.

4. International Standards Based

The design simultaneously complies with global manufacturing standards and Korean regulations, enabling response to both domestic and international trade and audit requirements.

International Standards and Compliance

ISA-95 (IEC 62264)

The international standard for integrating manufacturing operations systems with business systems. VEXPLOR ERP designs the data flow between ERP and MES based on this standard, implementing a structure where production floor data is immediately reflected in management decisions.

APICS/ASCM

Complies with terminology and processes defined by the world's leading standards organization for materials management, production planning, and inventory management. Core functions such as MRP explosion, BOM management, and lead time calculation follow these standards, enabling consistent business terminology and procedures in collaboration with global manufacturing companies.

K-IFRS / Korean Tax Law

Supports double-entry bookkeeping and chart of accounts systems conforming to Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). Provides built-in VAT sales/purchase tax invoice management and electronic tax invoice integration to reduce the burden of tax reporting.

GS1 Barcode Standards

Supports logistics barcodes, LOT tracking, and serial number (S/N) management based on the international GS1 barcode standard. Enables accurate and rapid logistics processing using barcodes throughout the entire process from raw material receipt to finished product shipment.

End-to-End Manufacturing Process Flow

VEXPLOR ERP organizes the entire manufacturing business into 6 phases. From the moment a customer order is received until payment is collected, all departments are connected in a single flow.

Three Business Flow Axes

Manufacturing operations involve three simultaneous flows. VEXPLOR ERP manages all three within a single system.

Material Flow

The physical flow from raw material receipt to finished product shipment.

Information Flow

Order information flows to each department, and performance data aggregates in reverse.

Financial Flow

The flow of funds from procurement to revenue.

Core Features

Implementation Guide

Getting started with VEXPLOR ERP follows these steps:

Step 1: Select Solution Template

Select the ERP solution template in Schema Designer. You can deploy all modules at once, or select only the ones you need for a phased rollout.

Step 2: Activate Modules

Activate modules matching your business scope. For example, start with procurement/sales/inventory first, then add accounting/costing later.

Step 3: Register Master Data

Enter the foundational data that drives all business operations: items, partners, BOMs, and warehouses. Bulk upload from existing Excel data is also supported.

Step 4: Configure Users/Departments/Permissions

Register employees and departments, and set access permissions based on business roles.

Step 5: Customize Workflows

Adjust the 16 pre-built workflows to match your company's actual business procedures. Add approval steps or change notification conditions as needed.

Step 6: Deploy Shop Floor POP Terminals

Place POP terminal screens at production floors, warehouses, inspection areas, and other locations where real-time data capture is needed.
